Present tense

[edit]

Present tense is observed whenever applicable in Wikipedia articles, except for things which "no longer meaningfully exist". Since there are a multitude of groups who have attached themselves to a particular set of pre-reform liturgical books, most notably the 1962 Missal, it is most appropriate to describe their current practices as they are, not as mere historical notes. 2600:8800:1880:91E:5604:A6FF:FE38:4B26 (talk) 20:06, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The triple candlestick does not belong to the 1962 Roman Missal. It was abolished seven years before. It no longer meaningfully exists as a Roman-Rite liturgical object. Bealtainemí (talk) 09:17, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
