Article rated class=Start because although its length and content are reasonable, the article needs more inline citations and referencing. It isn't far from "C" class as of today. PKT 16:57, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

?[edit]

This site says "Bunun dışında Türki devletlerden gelenler ve diğer devletlerden gelen soydaşlarımızı da dahil ettiğimizde...". It includes the number of people from Turkic countries. This site must be used in this article. Takabeg (talk) 18:43, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Significantly Secular"[edit]

Are Turkish Canadians more secular than the rest of the Turks? The Turkish German article notes Sunni Islam and Alevism as their religion while many of them are secular too. The way it is worded right now sets the wrong impression that Canadian Turks are more secular than the rest of the Turkish diaspora and the Turks in Turkey. The religious beliefs of Turkish Canadians generally mirror those of the Turks in Turkey and of those in Germany and the U.S., etc. 1907AbsoluTurk (talk) 19:50, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes there is a difference between those in Germany and Canada. The majority of Turks in Germany are from central and eastern parts of rural Turkey who hold more religious views whilst Turks in the Americas generally come from urban cities such as Istanbul and Ankara, and have more secular ideologies.Turco85 (Talk) 12:01, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's possible. But nowadays, they're from all over Turkey.AbsoluTurk1907 (talk) 02:34, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
