J. M. W. Turner[edit]

I've restored the hat-note to J. M. W. Turner, as a service to our readers. He may not be the only Turner, but he's the highest traffic; most famous; and most frequently linked to this dab page (even though I recently dab'd several such links). I would argue that Ted Turner, Kathleen Turner and Tina Turner are all equally high profile, which is probably why Turner doesn't redirect to the artist already. I don't think a hatnote serves the purpose either; if J. M. W. Turner is considered the primary holder of the name then Turner should redirect to him, with this list article residing at Turner (surname). —Xezbeth (talk) 11:48, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
I agree, if J. M. W. Turner is the primary topic, this page should be moved. 117Avenue (talk) 01:56, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
I didn't say that J. M. W. Turner is the primary topic. 117Avenue (talk) 04:25, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
