Proposed merge with Tegmental wall of tympanic cavity

It is needlessly complex to have these eight different articles on the tympanic cavity when one higher-quality article would suffice. This is needlessly fragmented and a detriment to readers, as well as impacting on the quality of all eight articles, by impacting on their editing and removing contextual information. Proposed merge with Promontory of tympanic cavity

As for reasons above.

Oppose: I find the current structure easy to navigate and understand. The tympanic cavity articles gives a summary, with the smaller articles (like Promontory of tympanic cavity) giving more detail, a very conventional structure on Wikipedia. Klbrain (talk) 22:05, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
