There are a number of chemicals linked from optical brightener that are probably used. What other chemicals are used to make UV marker ink? —Ben FrantzDale (talk) 13:50, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Low quality writing

I think this article needs to be proofread and edited heavily before it meets Wikipedia standards of good writing. It is also confuses invisible inks in general with UV inks and assumes that LEDs are the only way of reading the markings, when they are actually a rather recent option. It also digresses into off topic information related to other uses of near UV light sources. David Woolley (talk) 18:58, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I did a complete copyedit cleanup sweep, but there is still plenty of room for improvement, especially with the references. The writing still needs better conceptual organization and focus. Reify-tech (talk) 16:49, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
