Eh?

[edit]

Guys, you are expected to be one of the flagships of the German higher education system. Get your article in order, it's just a shame. Fred Plotz (talk) 13:01, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Computer Science

[edit]

Instead of a 10 years old table of chemistry, someone should wrote something about their great reputation in the field of computer science. This university received the first e-Mail in Germany, they founded the first scientific institute for computer science, they trained the first diploma computer scientists and because of their concepts in information/nano/robotic technologies they are since years at the first place in national rankings and signed as elite university. :-) I think that should be more important than an old, average engagement in the biochemistry-section. --91.40.35.98 (talk) 18:56, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name

[edit]

The title of this article does not make sense. It should be either "University of Karlsruhe" (English) or "Universität Karlsruhe (TH)" (German), but not a mixture. The university itself does not want its name to be translated (http://www.presse.uni-karlsruhe.de/img/presse/Corporate_Design_Handbuch.pdf, page 4), since there are other institutions in Karlsruhe whose names could be translated as "university". --85.179.205.183 (talk) 22:45, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The listed pdf above is not available anymore, but following places also support "Universität Karlsruhe (TH)":

Maschinenbau

[edit]

I dont think the ranking of the Maschinenbau (mechanical engineering) departement is good : under http://www.karriere.de/sonstige/3-teil-maschinenbau-ingenieurwesen-informatik-7131/ there is another ranking where the departement has a much better place.

If you look in the university ranking page (http://www.uni-karlsruhe.de/info/7602.php), the Maschinenbau departement has a good ranking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.13.186.1 (talk) 13:13, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Expand it!

[edit]
