[edit]@Cplakidas, would you happen to know how Syllimni spelled in Greek in the book? Does it refer to this village? Antondimak (talk) 08:19, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Antondimak, it is given as Συλλίμνη. Googling it I only came upon two references from registers of fallen soldiers, mentioning it as 'Συλλίμνη Μαντινείας Αρκαδίας', and given that the Mantineia Province is now in effect the Tripli Municipality, I guess it is the same, no idea though why the spelling might vary. - Thanks. I'll assume it's the same, as it's common for place names at the time to have multiple spellings, the one in the book looking like the result of a perceived etymology of "συν" + "λίμνη". --Antondimak (talk) 10:21, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
