I have toned down some of the most questionable language, the important thing is to consider this is intended to be an encyclopaedia page and that the language used should reflect a neutral point of view. Hopefully you can provide citations to allow you to remove the 'Citation needed' templates and perhaps ensure the article is clear and does not take sides but presents the topic neutrally.
