Some notes & questions
[edit]Great translation work overall.
- It’s not "the same anhydrite". If the rocks in the lower levels are called "depleted anhydrite", then the upper levels are not depleted – I used "undepleted", but I don't know if that's a common term. But "depleted" anhydrite is just gypsum, so maybe it's more comprehensible to describe the material as "rock containing gypsum" and "rock containing anhydrite"? I'm not a geologist …
- For consistency, I changed any "straße" not yet spelled as "strasse" to the latter. However, correct German is "straße" in any case – I'd gladly change them all back, but I think I somewhere read an en.wikipedia policy stating "ß" should generally be represented as "ss". What to do?
Any questions on my edits? --dealerofsalvation 15:34, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- Dealer - I appreciate your careful attention to detail, and I personally have no issues with any of your edits. I am no geologist either, hence the error in translation there, and I agree on the edits to Strasse, as it makes that word more accessible to all readers. All of your other edits are very welcome - thank you! Concertmusic (talk) 17:48, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
