Talk:Vernon, Texas

Just out of curiosity, what source was used to gain the demographic data for Vernon, Texas?

I ask, because although Census2000 is cited as the source, the actual Federal Census gives data which radically differs from what Wikipedia is declaring, as does (talk) 18:19, 29 September 2008 (UTC) The "Events" section sounds too much like advertising for Vernon, Texas. In addition to the F4 on April 10, 1979, Vernon was also hit by a possible F5 tornado on May 1, 1954. The last significant tornado to hit Vernon was an F2 on June 7, 1992.--Kevjgav (talk) 15:16, 12 May 2015 (UTC)
