Vikram Pandits relationship to Narendra Modi[edit]

Whoever is continuously adding this statement please remember that this is an unsubstantiated statement. Narendra Modi is a very controversial political figure. Threshold to link someone to any controversial figure should be higher than just your word. Provide supporting reference for your statement.

Slander[edit]

This article states: "Pandit has quickly grown to symbolize a new breed of double-talking executive known for promising responsibility and accountability to win bail-out tax dollars, $45 billion in late 2008, only to use $50 million to purchase a private jet from France. Many consider this let-them-eat-cake action in the face of record U.S. layoffs from a failing economy and his sworn commitment to "expanding the flow of credit to U.S. households and businesses responsibly and on competitive terms" to be criminal and have called on elected officials to bring him and others to accountability."

May I say Holy Vishnu! Whoever wrote this is slandering Pandit the Bandit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.122.83.90 (talk) 00:31, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Have just removed that part, it is non-encyclopedic in nature and does not belong here--Veloxsilentium (talk) 12:38, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Dr. Vikram Pandit[edit]

"The bank ultimately scrapped the plan under pressure from Obama" is from MSNBC. Localsales (talk) You need to provide a cite. Anyway, these TV channels pass dozens of opinions every day which are rather frivolous and should not make their way to an encyclopaedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.193.234.253 (talk) 17:08, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

No, that is not true. If that is the case, how one could verify everything that someone writes. MSNBC like other networks is highly repuated in the US and abroad. There is nothing that Dr. Pandit will loose something because of this statement - I hope it will not bother his personality. Yes, it could be a biased one. What is the big deal of this Encyclopedea compared to these networks? We find good things as well some bad things in every thing.

Please remove sentence referring to "Columbia STATE"[edit]

Vikram Pandit has four degrees from Columbia University in NY. Here is a link from the university website: http://www.columbia.edu/cu/secretary/bios/pandit/index.html

External Links for this article[edit]

It's been a little while since I've done anything with Wiki, so excuse me if I'm doing something foolish. The first item under 'External Links' goes to PayPalSucks.Com and appears to be a message board. I don't doubt lots of good information can be found on messageboards, but is it appropriate to link-to on those sorts of things?--Legomancer (talk) 07:39, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

I agree and have deleted the link along with the other link to biased material that is irrelevant to the subject.alaroz33 (talk) 23:59, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Compensation[edit]

There is a missing word in the final sentence:

"The fund has since been shuttered. In 2012, Citigroup shareholders voted in favor of a non-binding ____ to reject a $15 million pay package for Pandit.[27]" MaynardClark (talk) 03:12, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Resignation[edit]

Whether he was ousted, resigned, or forced to resign, the sourses say he resigned but disagree with the reason. So, I edited the sentence in the highlight and added an additional cite to the WSJ, which the Yahoo article mentions. Please discuss. Geraldshields11 (talk) 13:15, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
