I thought I should point out that Wally appeared on one of the last few episodes of the Muppet Show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.73.212.12 (talkcontribs)

Tweet relevance

[edit]

Sorry I can't remember how to do comments properly. "SteveMartinToGo: My hero, the first comedian I ever saw live, my influence, a man to whom I aspired, has passed on. Wally Boag." Madrat (talk) 03:02, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why is a Steve Martin tweet all that relevant here? News article/obit reference seems more appropriate. -- Cptndave (talk) 05:49, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The tweet was added late last night, before any news outlet was reporting it. That said, Steve Martin's Twitter account is "verified", so it was a good enough for then source. It should be kept at the end of the article, to signify that Boag's student was the one to break the news, but the top reference (at the b to d) can be changed, of course. -- Zanimum (talk) 21:18, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
