[edit]Birth date in the article is from the Bluff book, which has proved accurate every other time I've checked. However, no records come up that fit this on searching free gen info, the most likely being the Free BDM info of his death age, and therefore his birthdate (see below).
There is a Walter Langton b.1867 in Derbys Codnor Park who is listed as living in Hexthorpe District, Doncaster in 1901.
Without having access to full details, its seems possible he was married in oct/nov/dec 1890 in Doncaster.
I see a Walter Langton as being 85 at time of death in Doncaster in Jul/aug/sept 1952, and so the birthdate given by Bluff doesn't fit if this is him. http://www2.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?r=204516320&d=bmd_1366030354&scan=1
