Image copyright problem with Image:The Westfield Group logo.svg
[edit]The image Image:The Westfield Group logo.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

tone
[edit]I marked the article thus for the use of things like "fell on rough times", "Interestingly, if you enter on the east side, you are on the first floor" and so forth. It needs some serious cleanup. Daniel Case (talk) 20:26, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Another one is "A man went haywire and drove his car through the mall..." --24.46.21.197 (talk) 18:10, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Westfield Content Change Request
[edit]Hello. My name is Erik Even, and I am a Web Producer for Westfield Corporation. We're concerned that many of the Wikipedia pages for Westfield centers have incorrect or outdated information, and even content that is not NPOV.
I have read the rules for Conflict of Interest, and I will not be attempting to make any page edits. I will simply be going into talk pages, and suggesting edits, which the community may then either act on or not. I genuinely appreciate any help you can give.
Our suggested text is below, which is meant to be the first paragraph.
Again, thank you for your help.
Suggested text:
Westfield Sunrise is a 1.2 million-square-foot two-level indoor shopping mall located in East Massapequa, Long Island, New York. It is owned by the Westfield Corporation. Its anchor stores include Sears, JCPenney, and Macy’s.

By any other name?
[edit]"On August 4, 2020, it was announced that the mall would be going back to its original name, Sunrise Mall."
But, there is no indication of what the changed (second?) name was! FWIW, I've always known it as either the "Sunrise Mall" or "Massapequa Mall." Skaizun (talk) 04:54, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
