I really like that people have added so much to this page lately. Karol 08:28, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Famous Performers[edit]

I've found that several of the former red links were actually typos. The list was copied word for word from what I thought was a reliable text document, but apparently typing wasn't the author's strongest suit. Some of the red links were fixed with a simple and obvious change, such as Eva LaGallienne to Eva Le Gallienne. However, after cross-checking with IBDB, some of the possibilities seem odd. Is Eileen Eckhart really Eileen Heckart? I'll check with some people at the playhouse. Errors like that shouldn't be overlooked.

On the other hand, many of the red links are just that: red links. Elizabeth Ashley, for example. IBDB has her, Wikipedia does not.

Most of the red links are fixed. The rest just don't have pages. --Cryptic C62 00:08, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GA Result[edit]

There are 7 things that must pass before an article reaches GA status. I have reviewed it and the result is as follows:

  1. Well-written: Pass
  2. Factually accurate: Pass
  3. Broad: Pass
  4. Neutrally written: Pass
  5. Stable: Pass
  6. Well-referenced: Pass
  7. Images: Pass

Well done, the GA has passed successfullyMinun Spiderman 19:40, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Noting the talk page of the editor who promoted the article GA, in addition to the concerns I've uncovered on the peer review, as well as increasing copyright concerns in both text and images, a short lead, the listiness of the article, and some possibly inaccurate references, I'm delisting the Good article, in particular until the copyright issues can be cleared up. Tell the story[edit]

This article has a great start, but doesn't yet begin to tell the story of the Playhouse. Basic, important information about the Playhouse's history and importance isn't yet included. I suggest a complete read of the Somerset-Ward book, and then tackling the beef of the article, which isn't included yet. By the way, the list of notable perfomers does not agree with the Somerset-Ward book. Sandy 00:09, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyrights[edit]

I'm finding some copyright problems throughout this article, in text and in images (see the Peer review). The images from the Playhouse do not meet the first criterion of the fair use policy. To keep those images, someone will need to ask the copyright holder to release them under a free license. The copyright holder cannot just give permission for the images to be used on Wikipedia, they must release them to Wiki under a license for anyone to use. I've tagged the images and listed them at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images. Sandy 07:12, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm currently employed by the Playhouse and it's my understanding that an intern for the company is/has been working on this article on their behalf. I just thought I would put that out there in an effort to clarify usage. --Lekogm 02:06, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
