Where is the 'Golden Gate' in the painting?

The article states: "Within the left half of the picture is a depiction of the entrance to the San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate, which is being pointed to by the pilgrim seated atop the rock in the foreground" Am I missing something? I don't see anything such thing in the left half of the painting. I do see a separate painting immediately below the main painting which depicts the Golden Gate. tom fisher-york (talk) 01:42, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
