Shouldn't the article be transfered to the mainspace, since the filming of the first part has already begun and it is very likely that the second part is filmed with it in back-to-back? 31.154.220.89 (talk) 18:16, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did find this article that does seem to indicate that Part Two was filmed alongside Part One. In the article, it does say "It's quite frustrating in a way because we have, I think, 10 days worth of shooting to go finish all the shooting for both movies." I would say, however, we should get more evidence and sources that further corroborate this, before we make any move to the mainspace. https://variety.com/2023/film/news/wicked-shut-down-sag-strike-1235674571/Cardei012597 (talk) 23:41, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Should the title of this article include a colon between the title and subtitle? Currently sources seem to be using both titles (Wicked: Part Two and Wicked Part Two) and as the film hasn't been released yet none of the official sources which are usually used, such as those at WP:NCFILM#General, have been published. Looking at google search results there seems to be a similar number of results for Wicked Part 2 and Wicked: Part 2. WP:SUBTITLE seems to suggest a colon to be used in subtitles though, as it states that it should be the standard separator for the title and the subtitle. QubeChiba has been reverting information about characters in cast section (PermaLink), stating description information from this film isn't announced and should be added because it is based from the musical instead of this or the previous film. However, it has already been confirmed that the events of this film will be, overally, the same as the musical, similarly to the first part ([4], [5], [6]). Additionally, as it is expected that music numbers will be the same (with two new ones added), the events of the film would be extremely likely to be the same and there are also obvious references in the first part that the characters will become the characters that they become in the second part in the musical, per [7]. This information also shouldn't be removed just because it is a spoiler, per WP:SPOILER. Happily888 (talk) 19:08, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OPPOSE - It's not because it's a spoiler, but it merely states details on these characters based on the second part of the musical. This is the film, and it should be treated as a separate entity. We don't know what will happen to these characters in the film, and details about them merely based on the musical should be removed as it qualifies as ORIGINAL RESEARCH which is a violation of Wiki's MOS. Even sources from the web are merely referencing the details of the musical, instead of the film's. QubeChiba (talk) 04:26, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I oppose including information from the musical that hasn't been confirmed to be in the film. Adaptations often change aspects from the source material, and this could be one of those cases. There is no rush to add specific character informations that aren't confirmed, as such additions violate WP:CRYSTALBALL. Mjks28 (talk) 04:49, 17 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
