Merge?[edit]

Any reason not to merge this with Twelve-dish Christmas Eve supper? --Kevlar (talkcontribs) 23:11, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quite different. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 17:19, 24 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New merge proposal (April 2017)[edit]

Comments to the new merge proposal with with Twelve-dish Christmas Eve supper:

  • Twelve-dish Christmas Eve supper discusses this tradition in several countries, while Wigilia refers to Poland only. If one votes for merging, the title should remain "Twelve-dish Christmas Eve supper".
  • The same tradition is called Kūčios in Lithunia. If one merges Wigilia, then one should also merge Kūčios into Twelve-dish Christmas Eve supper. That page is quite lengthy, and one needs to check if the the new article does not become too long. --Off-shell (talk) 13:49, 27 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose merge as each of the country variants include unique aspects, and other Christmas eve traditions which extend beyond a twelve-dish meal. Klbrain (talk) 19:45, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
