Birth Place[edit]

Earlier today, the Early Life section said: "Wilhem Loeser was born in Barby, Posen, Germany on November 8, 1876." There are no inline citations for that paragraph.

I did some searching and found that the province of Posen was in Prussia at the time, rather than Germany. But also, Barby was not in the province of Posen. It was in Saxony. "Barby, Saxony, Prussia" It is listed there in this book published in 1864, on page 51: https://books.google.com/books?id=Dqk9AQAAMAAJ&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=false

So, I don't know where Loeser was from. Barby in Saxony, Prussia. Or some town in Posen, Prussia.

Either way, I have changed his country of origin to Prussia, and hopefully, we can figure out which town/province later. Kirby777 (talk) 01:44, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
