Can anyone identify the man pictured on the album cover?[edit]

The photo is of Commander David Dixon Porter, who was one of the leading Union naval officers in the Civil War. After the war, he was the Superintendant of the US Naval Academy at Annapolis and later promoted to the rank of Admiral.24.62.202.4 (talk) 16:20, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of answers to the questions I have read on these pages are now located in an article https://ibma.org/node/420 Will The Circle Be Unbroken : (Pt. 1) A 40th Anniversary Celebration -- Published by the International Bluegrass Music Association as this year a re-release of a vinyl version of Will the Circle Be Unbroken will be released as its its 40th anniversary (according to the Dirt Band at their concert last night here in Calgary, Alberta 21/10/2012. Cannot link to the article on the hymn by Ada Habershon[edit]

I can see the stub of the article on Habershon's 1907 hymn when I do a Google search, so I know it exists; however, any attempt to access that article redirects to this article about a 1972 bluegrass album by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Even the link on this page redirects back to this page.
