William McIlroy (British atheist) → William McIlroy (secularist) – The article was moved earlier today by Rms125a@hotmail.com with no explanation (though there is also William McIlroy (footballer), which redirects to Billy McClure, apparently because the McClure article was originally given an incorrect title). The McIlroy of this article was primarily a campaigning secularist - the fact that his personal beliefs were atheist (by no means the same thing) is irrelevant, as is the fact that he was British. I would have no objection to reverting the earlier move, or to setting up a disambiguation page - but my preference would be a renaming to the more accurate disambiguator. I don't see much, if anything to disambiguate here. This article could simply be titled William McIlroy, while William McIlroy (footballer) should be deleted altogether, since Billy McClure has apparently got nothing to do with any McIlroy and the William McIlroy (footballer) redirect is just confusing (and possibly plain wrong). --Giuliopp (talk) 15:54, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

The title 'William McIlroy (footballer)' now belongs to the correct article, so this article does need some disambiguation and I agree with Ghmyrtle on William McIlroy (secularist). --Giuliopp (talk) 11:26, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
