Race Riot[edit]

someone needs to add the riot

while Police were called in, I'm not sure if it could be called a full-fledged riot. Numerous big events like that have occurred throughout the years, and if you include that then where do you stop? Do you mention the chem lab explosion where 3 kids had to be airlifted out?

- i agree. the cops came and news showed up but the media spun it as a race riot and all this nonsense. i was there and participated. the school was trying to ban certain clothes that a lot of Chicano students wore. this was taken as a racist move to a lot of the students, so we all decided to wear the tall white tees and khaki dickies to protest. ——— Indian Mascot Controversy should be removed unless it can be cited.

why? this isn't controversial. it is offensive and the school does nothing to address it.

Hart opened in 1945 not 1946...At some point the school was 10th, 11th, and 12th grade and Placerita Junior High had 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. I do not believe this occured when it first opened, but at a later time.

Personnel[edit]

Wikipedia articles on schools normally don't include staff members beyond the principals, or sometimes a notable faculty member or longtime coaches. Among the reasons are that such lists go out of date and that they become the targets of vandals. Those are good reasons here too. Let's cut it down to just the senior staff. -Will Beback · · 07:27, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I see the article has been tagged as unreferenced. I've added fact tags to various items in the article. This is not to challenge the veracity of the statements, but as a guideline to show the areas where an inline citation to a reliable source would help improve the article.
