I would like to clear for the sake of removing confussion in the minds of readers that yasin (Boroshal) is the land of Brushaski speakers and it is a kind of injustice with the people of Yasin to say that Khowar is the primary language spoken in Yasin.Khowar is a kind of symbol of influence put by the Mehtars of Chitral who ruled over Yasin time and again so it must be clear that the basic(native)language of Yasin is Brushaski and Khowar is the second important language spoken in the valley...Although the people of Yasin Valley love to speak Khowar and most of the people can speak it and enjoy the heart touching music of Chitral but some people speak Khowar as their primary language and these people are mostly those who worked in the Royal Court of Mehtar of Chitral and they were attracted towards it because of their profession.....No doubt,Khowar is a rich language spoken in Chitral and it was brought to Yasin valley with the invasion of Mehtars of Chitral who had a firm rigime in Yasin and even ruled down to Gilgit Valley which is the capital city of Northern Areas(Gilgit-Baltistan)as Islamabad is to Pakistan. a native of Yasin.

The People of Yasin are basically Broshos. Brosho is an old ethnic division. Yashkun and Shin terms have lately been used in history. It is said that the remnant of Brosho civilization are the inhabitants of Nager, Yasen and Hunza. it is said that once in history there was an established Broshal state in Gilgit Baltistan. Latter on when invaders came to this region they pushed the inhabitants to exteme pole of GB i.e. Nagar, Hunza and Yasin. it was perhaps an era berfore Christ. it is a fact that names of Places in whole of the GB especially in Gilgit region are derived from Broshaski Language. Khower is a latter phenomenon in Yasen. the original language of the people of Yasen is Broshaski. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.142.174.13 (talk) 15:47, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
