‎Appendix: 20,902 CJK Unified Ideographs (Unicode block) in YES order

[edit]

Dear Bedivere (talk · contribs),

Thank you for your interest to the article. May I know why "‎Appendix: 20,902 CJK Unified Ideographs (Unicode block) in YES order" is deleted? It is my own product, and there is no copyright issue. Ctxz2323 (talk) 03:18, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what you're talking about. If you are referring to a file of Commons, I suggest you take this issue there. So far I don't remember (not that I didn't) deleting such a file, but even if I did, it would need permission so I also suggest you contact commons:COM:VRT. Good day Bedivere (talk) 03:36, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is not a file of Commons, it is an Appendix section of a normal Wikipedia article, with the history record copied as follows:
"curprev 13:41, 7 April 2024‎ Bedivere talk contribs‎ 12,437 bytes −62,927‎ →‎Appendix: 20,902 CJK Unified Ideographs (Unicode block) in YES order undothank ".
Maybe it was deleted accidently if you do not remember. Can I put it back? Ctxz2323 (talk) 09:51, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, yes, I don't remember removing it though, I may have thought it was mistakenly added in the first place. I would suggest you to remove it as it is too long, it is in a foreign language/alphabet and it could be considered by fellow editors as unencyclopedic. I think you could submit it to the Chinese edition of Wikisource and link it from here. That would be the best approach. Bedivere (talk) 01:44, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks.
Maybe I will create an independent list and have it linked to the present article.
As a matter of fact, there is a list of the same CJK Chinese character set on wikipedia English, in Unicode radical-based order.
Before the list is done, I would like to keep the appendix, as it is an important part of the article. Ctxz2323 (talk) 02:07, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Have just made it collapsible, hidden in default state. Ctxz2323 (talk) 05:42, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
