Date
[edit]Dates for this sculpture range from 1980 to 1985, depending on the source. I've included 1985 based on the Smithsonian Institution and PSU sources (over the Public Art Archive and UO Digital Collections sources). ----Another Believer (Talk) 15:56, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
sculpture removed
[edit]Due to construction at Portland State University, this sculpture has been removed.Dobratzp (talk) 19:46, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Dobratzp: I saw the sculpture just a couple months ago, I am certain. Do you have a source to verify this? ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:07, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: I walked by there on Saturday, September 12, 2015. The School of Business Administration is taking over the entire building at 615 and 631 SW Harrison St, Portland, OR 97201. Most of this city block is now fenced off due to the construction. On the Pacificmark Construction Facebook page, they state that they are removing the sculpture on August 13, 2015. I have updated this data on OpenStreetMap already. Dobratzp (talk) 20:26, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
- @Dobratzp: Thanks for responding and providing this additional info. Wikipedia does not consider Facebook a reliable source, so I can't use that to update the article, but I will be on the lookout for another form of confirmation. Hopefully then I can update the article accordingly. By the way, I posted a note about WikiProject Oregon on your talk page. No pressure, just an invite if you have an interest in Wikipedia content related to Oregon. Thanks again! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:48, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

An IP editor added the new location. However, I reverted this edit since the claim is unsourced. Trying to find a source now... ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:58, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
@Dobratzp: I'm curious, any update here? ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:45, 28 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: I walked by here on May 31, 2018 and the construction is wrapping up. The location where the statue once stood is now a building. Google Street View shows a picture of it. See Sep 2017 Google Street View and April 2014 Google Street View I don't have a clear idea in my mind what constitutes an acceptable source to wikipedia, so I'm not sure how to proceed. - @Dobratzp: Thanks for the update. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:57, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
@Dobratzp: Mystery solved! I was walking through the campus this weekend and stumbled upon the sculpture at a green space at the intersection of SW 11th and Market. ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:18, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
