Real or not?

[edit]

Many of these seem spurious.

In particular, quite a few (such as YATTT, YAUN, YAYACC and YAZ) have had their Wikipedia pages deleted. Are these for real? Earthlyreason (talk) 04:56, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yahoo?

[edit]

Does Yahoo! really stand for "Yet Another Hierarchical Oficious Oracle"??? Sounds fishy... 194.154.236.154 (talk) 12:59, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's probably a humorous backronym, but it is mentioned on Yahoo! itself. [1] Sw2k7 (talk) 02:21, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rename to: Yet Another

[edit]

{{move|Yet Another}} Capitalised for second word. -- Zondor (talk) 04:45, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was requested that this article be renamed but the procedure outlined at WP:RM#Requesting potentially controversial moves did not appear to be followed, and consensus could not be determined. Please request a move again with proper procedure if there is still a desire for the page to be moved. Thank you for your time!Aervanath lives in the Orphanage 20:42, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Requested again but not at the right forum. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:22, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
