Would be nice to extend this a bit to discuss both the impact this film had at the time (growth of the newschool wirefu which transitioned out of the SB era), and, as well, that it is a supreme example of the new genre (it being one of the earliest, if not *the* earliest, example of the modern wirefu kungfu fantasy film - all the more striking when compared to Shaw Brothers films released in the same year).

I totally agree. This movie pretty much single-handedly kicked off the new style of over the top wuxia fantasy in one fell swoop.Dxco (talk) 19:48, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Title transliteration

Only the small part of the title has been transliterated. The large part is "Suk San" (Cantonese) or "Shu Shan" (Mandarin) meaning "Zu Mountain."--Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 22:13, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
