I have removed the copyvio tag by CorenSearchBot because the article it cites is itself copied from German Wikipedia and is licensed accordingly. My translation is also from German Wikipedia, so I don't think this is a breach of copyright. --Bermicourt (talk) 17:55, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I looked at this because it's listed at WP:SCV. I think what triggers the bot in these cases (I've seen several of them) is not the translation but the hidden text copied from the other article. Without going into whether doing that is an attribution problem or not, could I maybe suggest that a different technique, such as pasting it into a text program instead, or deleting it before saving the page, would save work all round? Had you considered putting a {{Translated}} tag on this page to provide attribution, by the way? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 23:22, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, that could be it - thank you! I sometimes use MS Word with longer articles anyway; maybe I will do that in future. Also having had a helpful discussion with User:Moonriddengirl I plan to add the attribution as I translate the article, not some weeks later! --Bermicourt (talk) 15:01, 2 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
