Tallevast is an unincorporated community in Manatee County, Florida, United States.[1] It is part of the BradentonSarasotaVenice Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

A post office called Tallevast has been in operation since 1919.[2] The community was named for the Tallevast brothers, businessmen in the turpentine industry.[3]
