1971 Swiss women's suffrage referendum
- ... that after Switzerland women's suffrage was approved in a referendum in 1971, the tabloid Blick sported a cover with a naked blonde and the headline "Thank you for the Roses"? Source: Persoenlich
- Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Two Hundred Rabbits
- Comment: The fact that in an often described model democracy like Switzerland women were only allowed to vote in 1971 would be main page worthy

- Amazing we didn't have an article yet. Article is new enough, long enough and within policy, but there are a few details that should be checked (I think the "yes" vote was 65.7%, which does not round to 67%, the "no" vote at the previous referendum. But the SRF source has 57%, so better double check this!). Hook is interesting/weird and cited inline. QPQ has been done. Referendum outcome needs to be correct, so —Kusma (talk) 11:07, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the kind review. Yes, I was also surprised that we didn't have an article yet. I double checked the numbers and you were right with the 65.7%, thanks for that as well.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 12:37, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
