... that Luis Alvarez began development of the APQ-7 Eagle radar after getting in a heated argument with Taffy Bowen about the possibility of using a small antenna for scanning?

New enough (created 3 March 2016), long enough (10,996 characters "readable prose size"). Not quite fully referenced; needs a reference on the first paragraph. Hook referenced to Radar, p. 29 but this does not mention the argument between Bowen and Alvarez. ALT hook is fine though, verified against reference. Image on Commons with appropriate license.
