A (yacht)

[edit]

A, moored at St. John's, Antigua

  • ... that the Philippe Starck-designed A has been described as both "the most extraordinary yacht launched in recent memory" and "one of the ghastliest megayachts ever created"?

  • Good to go. Article is new enough, long enough, well-referenced, hook is properly referenced. --SupernovaExplosion Talk 08:41, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
  • The "the most extraordinary yacht launched in recent memory" in the hook is sourced to this blog which doesn't appear reliable. I've pulled the hook from prep. SmartSE (talk) 21:46, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
  • I believe the quote first appeared in an article in The Sunday Times on 20 July 2008: "Andrey Melnichenko's battleship heads to sea" by Maurice Chittenden. Unfortunately News International newspaper archives aren't freely available, but I think this is it if you have access to them. In the meantime, I've add a citation to the ST article, albeit without a URL. Is that sufficient? --DeLarge (talk) 00:28, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
    • I checked factiva and that quote is indeed found in that article (with a slightly different title). I've removed the blog and another one, but now the article is good to go. SmartSE (talk) 21:33, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
