Abbey Tavern Singers
[edit]- ... that the soundtrack from a beer commercial, featuring the Abbey Tavern Singers, became the best-selling Irish record in Canada?
- Reviewed: St. Andreas, Düsseldorf
Created/expanded by 78.26 (talk). Self nominated at 23:40, 27 June 2013 (UTC).
- Hook interesting and appropriately long. Article long enough and appropriately cited.
Only small problem is a bad external link in the Toolbox; all other tools check out. A little curious why an IP is nominating this, but it looks kosher.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 04:14, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- So, the Tavern gets some free publicity courtesy Wikipedia (ps, I have no ties whatsoever to the tavern, unfortunately never been to Ireland, etc.), and they take down the page sometime between the 24th and the 29th. Surely the irony gods must be rolling. I have updated the URL to archive.org, and re-structured the sentence for accuracy, because who knows, perhaps the singers were all fired sometime in the last couple of years. I believe that will take care of your concerns. Thanks for reviewing! (PS#2, I'm not an IP.) 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 02:39, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
