Alan T. Busby
- ... that American educator Alan T. Busby was the first African American student to attend the University of Connecticut, graduating in 1918? Source: Many sources, including the UConn Archives & Special Collections Blog
Created by Topshelver (talk). Self-nominated at 18:21, 21 January 2021 (UTC).
- The article is long enough at 4142 characters (682 words) "readable prose size". It was created on January 18 so it is new enough. It is amply supported by well formatted inline citations to online reliable sources. The hook is properly formatted, short enough, and interesting and it is supported by a citation immediately following the sentence in which the hook fact first appears. There are no plagiarism or close paraphrasing issues, based on use of the Earwig tool and spot checking by me. The article is well written and formatted and maintains a neutral tone. This is Topshelver's first DYK nomination so no QPQ is needed. HazelAB (talk) 18:25, 22 January 2021 (UTC)
