• ... that the 6th-century Byzantine official Athanasius was dispatched by Justinian I to Ravenna in 536 and Carthage in 545, and he ended up in prison on both trips?

• Length and date verified. The Google Books preview for the Prosopography doesn't include the relevant portions of the book (it might be advisable to remove that Google Books link), but Bury provides partial confirmation. A. Parrot (talk) 01:42, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
