Bear Road, Brighton[edit]

  • ... that a dead elephant is buried under a road junction in Brighton's Bear Road area?
  • Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Providence Milwaukie Hospital
  • Comment: I have a pic of the junction in question, but it's pretty dull! Note that this article focuses on a suburb which is generally known as "Bear Road", rather than simply on the road itself. Fact is sourced to Bizarre Brighton p55 (current ref [16]).

  • Date OK; article well over the required length; hook OK, short, and interesting. The hook is confirmed by an offline source which I AGF. The article is well referenced, and of the usual high quality of this editor. IMO an image would add nothing to the hook. --Peter I. Vardy (talk) 20:09, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
