Overall: @Zeete: Good article. Though, I do wonder if you could create some more hooks out of the article since this one's kind of meh. Also, i'd prefer if you put page numbers for citation 3 since it's kind of hard to scroll through the entire thing. Onegreatjoke (talk) 19:34, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Onegreatjoke: Thanks for the review. I've added page numbers for the NRHP reference. Ideas for hooks are welcome. Here's some more:
- ALT1: ... that the First Memorial Presbyterian Church (pictured) was funded by Hudson Hoagland as a memorial for his wife?
- ALT2: ... that the First Memorial Presbyterian Church (pictured) on Blackwell Street was funded by Hudson Hoagland as a memorial for his wife?
- Thanks, Zeete (talk) 10:54, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- More of a comment but we usually try not to mention people who don't have Wikipedia articles by name in hooks. The hooks themselves are solid but mentioning Hoagland by name may not be ideal. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:17, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5: Thanks, I did not know about that. The NRHP nomination names it as the Hoagland Memorial Presbyterian Church not the current name First Memorial. I found it interesting that he could fund such an impressive building as a memorial.
- ALT3: ... that the Hoagland Memorial Presbyterian Church (pictured) was built as a memorial for the funder's wife?
