  • Comment: I did originally write this in my userspace; I only noticed afterwards that Robledo (volcano) existed as a one-sentence stub. I did decide to move my own draft to article space and redirect the previous article to it because the sources used Cerro Blanco more frequently than Robledo.

  • . In the article I read it has "the largest known eruption in the Central Andes during the Holocene." The hook needs a change to reflect this. Lappspira (talk) 21:05, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
  • Aye, that was an oversight. Corrected version:
As a sidenote, I am not familiar with any VEI 7 eruption in the Andes during the Holocene but this is only my own synthesis.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 21:26, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
, new hook (ALT1) is ok. Text is long enough and article new. No obvious close paraphrasing detected. The article is well sourced and has an appropriate tone. Editor has reviewed another DYK. The only complain I have is that the picture included in the nomination is not appropriate since it is too difficult to spot the volcano, or understand it at all if one is unfamiliar with ASTER images. Lappspira (talk) 05:16, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
  • I am not disinclined at all to go with an imageless version of the hook, unfortunately I can't find any free images other than ASTER of the volcano.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 07:49, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
  • . Approved. Image inclusion can be up to the administrator who closes the this nomination. I do not think the current image is useful or illustrative. Lappspira (talk) 08:04, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
