Overall: Article is an interesting read! Hook is ok, suggest taking out "in 1927" for added hookiness, could also wikilink lesbian magazines or lesbian. QPQ needs to be done, feel free to ask for help if it's not clear what needs to be done. Pic is ok but maybewould stand out better at 120 x 133 px, being a bit more colour defined?
