Ernest F. Schuck[edit]

  • ... that Ernest F. Schuck ran for re-election in 1977 on a platform supporting New Jersey's new state income tax, as many residents of his district would see a net gain from the plan? Source: see this source "The state income tax issue appears to have become a boon to Governor Byrne and the rest of the Democratic ticket in the state's three legislative districts centered on Camden County. All nine Democratic candidates for the Legislature in the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Districts are supporting Governor Byrne and the income tax in their campaigns.... Mr. Dickey, former Assembly Speaker, said that two sizable blocs of voters in the three districts fare better financially with the income tax that Governor Byrne engineered than they had previously. One group is the large number of people who commute to Philadelphia to work. .... The other group is the substantial number of elderly voters in this area.... The Assembly incumbents there, Walter D. Rand of Camden and Ernest F. Schuck of Barrington, are considered strong favorites for re‐election on the Errichetti-Byrne ticket."

  • QPQ done. Article is new enough and created by nominator. Article is big enough, referenced and neutral. Hook appears in the article, and is referenced a bit later. It is confirmed in source. Hook is short enough. I could not find a copyright problem. Good to go. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 02:50, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
