Gerardo González Valencia

  • ... that Gerardo González Valencia was allegedly part of the largest money laundering scheme in Uruguay's history? Source: "En este sentido la Justicia considera que se trata de la mayor operación contra el lavado de activos en la historia de Uruguay." [1] and "En el marco de la mayor operación contra el lavado de activos en la historia de Uruguay..." [2]

  • Moved to mainspace recently enough, long enough, generally within policy with regards to citation and neutrality. No copyvio issue found. I'm a bit worried about the hook: It says "alleged" about a living person, and the guideline says a hook should not "focus unduly on negative aspects of living people". He seems not convicted of this charge yet. I think it's better to be safe about WP:BLP's, could you perhaps come up with a different hook? HaEr48 (talk) 23:04, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
Cannot come up with another hook I find interesting or comfortable with so I'm withdrawing this nomination. Writing about alleged criminals is too sensitive from the Main Page and I find it difficult to come up with hooks sometimes. All sources point to him being allegedly involved in international money laundering (the whole article is about that anyways, and some sources don't even allege it). Thank you for the review and the tags in the article. I will address them right away. Cheers, ComputerJA () 23:48, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
