Helene Wildbrunn
[edit]- ... that Helene Wildbrunn (pictured), a celebrated Wagnerian soprano at the Vienna State Opera and La Scala, began her career in 1907 as a contralto at the Stadttheater Dortmund?
- Comment: It would be nice to include and compare familiar roles, Isolde (Tristan) and Brünnhilde (Ring) as a soprano, Erda (Ring) and Brangäne (Tristan) as a contralto and mezzo, but there's no room.
