Henrik Vibskov

[edit]
  • ... that Danish designer Henrik Vibskov (pictured), creator of the "Big Wet Shiny Boobies Collection", is part of what has been called the "New Nordic" movement of design?

Created/expanded by Dr. Blofeld (talk), Drmies (talk). Nominated by Drmies (talk) at 21:14, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

  • Comment. I'm not sure the hook is supported by the WSJ reference, it doesn't describe him as a part of the New nordic movement of design, it almost describes him as being different from it - "Henrik Vibskov, a Danish designer who shows in Paris, has a playful fashion sense that steers clear of Scandinavian minimalism, emphasizing instead the eclectic sensibility of multicultural Copenhagen.". But then again it describes how his work is included in the exhibition "New Nordic" - so perhaps it does support it. It requires a little bit of synth but not much. Perhaps there is a way to reformulate the hook to fit the source better. Otherwise the article is fine in regards to citations and size.·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 21:35, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

  • I see that now, yes. Actually, I was going to write the article for that movement as well, but that's not happening anytime soon. Let me propose a different hook:
ALT1... that Danish designer Henrik Vibskov (pictured), creator of the "Big Wet Shiny Boobies Collection", was inducted into the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine?
Also, I just got a picture in for him--can we add that? He is a very attractive man and will do well on our front page. (Obviously I don't know how to format the image in this template...) Drmies (talk)

My oversight. I didn't see that up there. Sorry about that. Maile66 (talk) 20:32, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
No apology necessary, Maile66. Thanks for the review. Now let's get those boobies on the front page. Drmies (talk) 20:47, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
