Herbert Blendinger
[edit]- ... that Wolfgang Sawallisch conducted Helen Donath, Hermann Becht and the Bayerisches Staatsorchester in the first recording of the cantata Media in vita by Herbert Blendinger?
- Reviewed: Herculaneum papyri
- Comment: I don't find a source that the soloists also sang the premiere in 1980, quite likely, as the recording is from the same year. The links to famous performers (conductor, orchestra, soprano) are supposed to add to the so far unknown composer. Hermann Becht is an invitation to expand a stub.

- Hook: Short enough... somewhat interesting. Cited.
- Article: Long enough, new enough, AGF on German-language references. No images. Could we have access dates please?
- Summary: Please add access dates. Otherwise looks fine. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:03, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Formatted refs altogether. - Media in vita translates to "In the midst of life we are in death". I did not know when I wrote it that a friend would die on 1 September. I would like to see this on the day of his funeral, 8 September. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:59, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Date request is fine. Sorry for your loss. Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:27, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
