Hindu Temple of Dayton[edit]
- ... that the Hindu Temple of Dayton in Ohio was consecrated in 1985 and underwent two years of renovations starting in 2011?

- New enough, long enough, but some quality issues. Too many single-sentence paragraphs, many of which are unsourced. Rule of thumb is at least one source per paragraph. Hook checks out, though a bit pedestrian. Aboutmovies (talk) 06:04, 14 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, Aboutmovies! I went added some references and cleaned up the paragraphs, as you suggested. Would you recommend a better hook for this page? I think a picture would greatly improve the page by showing the contrast of a beautiful Hindu temple in such an area, but I'm having trouble finding references to the architecture. Any suggestions? - I don't know if this helps. You could find an image on Commons for this, I think. I'm not Hindu, so I found it interesting about bathing Venkateswara and Shiva. Maybe you could expand on that ritual a little for non-Hindus. Put one of those images in the article, and then a hook something like, " ... that at the Hindu Temple of Dayton , Shiva (pictured) is bathed every Monday." — Maile (talk) 12:57, 14 May 2014 (UTC)
- good to go on the quality issue; as to the hook, when I read the article I also found the most interesting part to be about the bathing, which might not be interesting to Hindus as routine, but for others it sticks out.
