... that in the 16th-century etchings by Jean Mignon most figures have open mouths (example pictured)? Source: "The figural types are also typical... Almost all have open mouths" p. 271, in Boorsch, Suzanne, in Jacobson, Karen (ed), (often wrongly cat. as Georg Baselitz), The French Renaissance in Prints, 1994, Grunwald Center, UCLA, ISBN0962816221
Overall: @Epicgenius: Good article. Though, the hook is weirdly worded. What does ". that in the 16th-century etchings of Jean Mignon" mean? is it referring to etchings by him the 16th century or etchings of him? Also, the lead is way too big. There's no reason a 4 paragraph article should have a 3 paragraph lead. Onegreatjoke (talk) 19:19, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
Don't understand - is there a missing word here? Anyway, changed "of" to "by", although I don't see this was unclear. There are no etchings showing him. The lead is not too long; many leads are much too short. Anyway, this is not a DYK issue. Johnbod (talk) 19:28, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
@Johnbod: "that in the 16th-century etchings by Jean Mignon" seems to have an error somewhere. Also yes, I know the lead doesn't matter so I'll approve if it doesn't get fixed but the lead is still way to big regardless. Onegreatjoke (talk) 21:46, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
Well, if you track the error down, let me know. Johnbod (talk) 05:18, 30 March 2023 (UTC)
@Johnbod: We could say "... that in etchings by Jean Mignon, most figures have open mouths?" as I don't really see the reason as to why the century date needs to be added in the hook. Onegreatjoke (talk) 18:13, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
The date give useful context, and is rather surprisingly early; these are among the first French etchings. Johnbod (talk) 21:17, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
@Onegreatjoke: I think you meant to ping Johnbod there, but since he's aware of your review already, this is a bit of a moot point. Epicgenius (talk) 21:38, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
If it makes you happier, I could change the word order:
ALT1 * ... that most figures in the 16th-century etchings by Jean Mignon have open mouths (example pictured)?Johnbod (talk) 21:20, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
