  • Significantly enlarged, thus long enough, sourced. I'd preffer another hook to focus the almost life-long effort of Joseph Steffan in the LGBT rights movement but the suggested one is sourced and can tease more attention, I am not sure; anyone else might say?Aloysius (talk) 09:55, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
I prefer hooks that grab as much attention as possible, but perhaps:
ALT1: ... that Joseph Steffan sang the U.S. National Anthem at two Army–Navy games before being forced to resign from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1987 for homosexuality and becoming a gay activist?
