Knight's Spider Web Farm

[edit]

Created/expanded by Dennis Brown (talk). Nominated by Drmies (talk) at 02:45, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

  • There's a couple of uncited sentences - the end of the paragraph under "Spider webs as art" and the first paragraph in "Harvesting spider webs". The hook is good and the article meets the length requirements. Citations 1, 2 and 4 prove the required notability IMO. So once those citations are added, this one should be good to go. • Fixed. Was in existing sources, added cite tags and reworded the one just slightly. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 12:00, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Just needs citations for "it seemed logical to combine the two, and they eventually figured out how to glue spider webs onto wood." and "The process consists of spraying the web with white paint so that it is more visible, then removing the rack with the spider web intact. The rack is then placed over a flat, smooth board that has been painted black or stained, to which the web will naturally stick. The entire surface is then coated with lacquer, providing a smooth finish. Because spiders are prolific web builders, he is able to harvest daily." Miyagawa (talk) 15:49, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Was in the existing sources, tagged as much. Was afraid of over citing the same sources, but it is done. Dennis Brown - © Join WER 00:58, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Article is now good to go. :) Miyagawa (talk) 14:43, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
