- The article, its length, date of creation and hook seem fine. I am unfamiliar with baseball terminology but would it be better to have:

- Well, the way it works is that a player under contract in Japan who wants to play in the US requests his team "post" him to MLB. If the team consents, they inform the commissioner of MLB, and then all teams in MLB hold a silent auction to determine who gets the rights to negotiate a contract with said player. In Mitsui's case, he requested his team post him twice in the same offseason, they agreed to post him both times, and no MLB team bid on him either time. So I think the original is closer to the mark, but some rewriting could be appropriate. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:31, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
