Article far too short to qualify for DYK.

  • The article is nowhere near long enough (around 1/3 of the required 1,500 characters). I'd also prefer to see the citations fixed rather than raw URLs. The Rambling Man (talk) 15:45, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
Left a message on the nominator's talk page. — Maile (talk) 20:09, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
I appreciate your enthusiasm but if someone nominates a DYK and can't check on it themselves, it seems a little lame. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:13, 15 January 2014 (UTC)
  • It is normal practice to inform nominators of problems with the nomination. See Wikipedia:Did you know/Reviewing guide#Finishing the review: If the outcome of your review is anything other than an approval ( or ), please consider notifying the article nominator(s); you can do this with a personal message on their talk page or by placing {{subst:DYKproblem|Article|header=yes|sig=yes}} there (replacing "Article" by the heading of the nomination). • Nominator has been active during the two weeks since he was informed of issues and nothing has been done to address problems highlighted by initial reviewer. --Allen3 talk 14:36, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
